High-Level Dialogue on the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and the UN 2030 Agenda

The 2nd High-Level Brainstorming Dialogue on Enhancing Complementarities between the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development will be held at the UN Conference Centre in Bangkok on Friday 30 March.

Organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and the ASEAN Secretariat, the event will feature a series of high-level panels on policy perspectives and initiatives for promoting sustainable development in the region. A joint report entitled Complementarities between the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: A Framework for Action will also be launched at the opening session.

The report provides a policy framework for ASEAN countries to simultaneously translate the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and the 2030 Agenda from political aspiration to practical implementation.
