Media Education Centre invites organizations, schools and other institutions working with media to nominate two young media enthusiasts 15-22 years old to participate in the 3rd International Youth Media Summit, August 20th to 27th in Belgrade, Serbia. The young participants must be candidates as Student Filmmakers and Student Diplomats. Beside the official delegates for the Summit, there are other ways in which you or your interested students can participate: Summit’s One Minute’s Film workshop, Documentary Film and TV studio workshop, Internet Radio workshop or Online Summit workshop… The rules for workshop’s participants are same like for summit’s delegates.
The outcomes of the Summit are Public Service Announcements (PSAs) filmed and edited by student filmmakers as well as researched and prepared by the student diplomats.
The program of the Summit is exclusively designed to provide Skill and Professional Development as well as familiarizing the young participants with codes and standards of Media. Also, provide media platform for young adults to express and present the seven significant issues relating to them globally: Racism | Violence | Poverty | Youth Empowerment | Women Empowerment | Health | Environment
